How many swim groups are there?
We have 6 different swim groups. Some have multiple groups under them. Example, Performance has performance 6x, 7x, 8x

What is a time trial?
Time trials give new swimmers and parents the opportunity to experience the feel of a swim meet in a less crowded setting. It also gives you a bench mark of what your time is for each event.
What is a swim meet?
A swim meet is a swimming competition where swimmers race in several different types of races (breast stroke, back stroke etc…)
What do BR, FR etc... mean?
BR = Breast Stroke
FR = Freestyle
Back = Backstroke
Fly = Butterfly
IM = Individual Medley Example (4x100IM - means you will swim 25m Fly/back/brs/frs)
How do I know which swimming event to put my child in?
Your childs coach will determine which events they will go in.
Do I need to go to every swim meet?
We encourage you to attend the swim meets that are for your swim group but it is not required that you go.
What equipment do I need to start?
All swimmers are encouraged to have a swim bag, towel, swim cap, go ggles & water bottle to start.
How does my child move up to the next level?
The coaches will do an evaluation and determine if you child is ready to move on.

What are qualifying times?
Certain swim meets, you will need to qualify in a certain time to be able compete in that race.
